71st Kontrapunkt Radio Show (in holiday mode - Vikings) June 30th, 2016 Announcement

 

On Thursday June 30th, 2016 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the next edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM. 

It will be the first edition in so called "holiday mode" meaning the show will be dominated by the music with short introductions only. During summer time I'll be with you only in the spirit and as the voice, the body will be resting somewhere else.

Today, I will will invite you to the Ambient Festival, which next week will take place in Gorlice, Poland. I'll have the free invitations for some of you for this Festival and musically one of this year's biggest stars - remembered from years with Tangerine Dream Steve Jolliffe will show up. The latest album of the artist - "Cyclone Spheres" will have its live premiere during the Gorlice Ambient Festival but tonight we will listen to its extensive excerpts.

Then we will recall tracks from This Mortal Coil singles and in the second hour of the show the title Vikings will freeze your hearts.

W Gorlicach będzie miała miejsce premiera najnowszej płyty artysty - "Cyclone Spheres". My już dzisiaj posłuchamy jej obszernych fragmentów.

Następnie przypomnimy sobie nagrania z singli This Mortal Coil a w drugiej godzinie przypłyną by zmrozić Wasze serca tytułowi Wikingowie.

Again, a lot of première presentations. Once again I will reach for the brand new album of Die Krupps entitled "Stahlwerkrequiem" (still waiting for its release day). Also you will hear a lot of strong tracks the new Combichrist including. It will be also Rudi Ratzinger and his : Wumpscut :. From another shelf something for fans of Warp Records and at the end of the show few minutes with somnambulistic noir ambient.

But everything starts extremely quietly and touching by surprise...

On Thursday June 2nd, 2016 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the next edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM.

Tonight will be a lot of premieres and previews, also this special and most important presentation for me these days - fragments of the new album of Die Krupps "Stahlwerkrequiem" at the end of the program.

Title beasts will appear, also those in human skin. A lot of music will have references to the 80's, "Lost In Time" section will return this time with the British formation recording in 1985-1987, and at the end of the program several minutes for experimental and tribal sounds are reserved.

W tym wydaniu pojawi się sporo premierowych i przedpremierowych prezentacji w tym ta dla mnie najważniejsza - Die Krupps "Stahlwerkrequiem" na zakończenie programu.

Przybędą tytułowe bestie, także te w ludzkiej skórze. Sporo będzie muzycznych odniesień do lat 80., powrócą "Zaginieni w czasie" tym razem z brytyjską formacją nagrywającą w latach 1985-1987, a pod koniec programu przewiduję kilkanaście minut z plemiennym eksperymentem i industrialem.
