33rd Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Post Scriptum) September 30th, 2015 Announcement

Tonight the additional edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM, making a kind of post scriptum to the first season of the show. The second season will begin  tomorrow on Thursday October 1st, 2015.

The program will feature tracks that were not fortunate enough to be on earlier editions of Kontrapunkt or were planned to be, but time did not allow to air them. This time it will be this year's electronic music only (mostly instrumental recordings), with one exception though.

Among other artists, in this edition Juno Reactor, Conrad Schnitzler and ... Steven Wilson will be air played. And what is an obvious thing this week - John Foxx will open the show.

32nd Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Mosaic) September 24th, 2015 Announcement

The subtitle of this show (Mosaic) suggests that its content will be quite varied.

The program will present you the recordings almost exclusively from new albums released this year.

The show will be opened by an artist from Iceland who is the Golden Globe winner for film music, then we will listen to the tracks by projects from Russia and Ukraine, later also from Hungary. Polish accents will also appear.

Once again, I encourage you to take part in the Warsaw Dark Electro Festival and IV Kalisz Ambient Festival, which Kontrapunkt Radio Show supports as media partner.

31st Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Bipolarity #2) September 17, 2015 Announcement

Our second meeting under the title "Bipolarity" will be dominated by two themes - EBM and dark ambient.

In the first hour of the program I will tell you about the origins and the beginnings of the group Front 242. In the second part we will be listening to the classic dark ambient - the great Swedish project raison d'etre.

30th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Continuum #5) September 10, 2015 Announcement

This week I'm strongly behind the schedule, which is why this time the announcement of the next show will be fairly brief.

The subtitle of the program means that I will continue the topics and themes already begun in previous editions. Among others the show will feature "Synthpop Pill no. 2" and next edition of "Lost In Time" section of the show (with tracks by A Sordid Poppy). I have also the next giveaways for my listeners and invitation (double!) to Die Krupps gig in Warsaw prepared.

What else? Traditional handful of news and some older recordings from various shelves.  

Also some very famous voices will sing for us (including Robert Smith of The Cure).

29th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Suspense) September 03, 2015 Announcement

I'd  like to build the upcoming show according to the canon of good thriller movies, that's why it is entitled "Suspense".

Therefore everything will start from the earthquake, will be shock, will be scream and then the tension will only grow, but there will be the moments of calm as well and at the end the destructive and uncompromising attack of mechanized armoured forces will take place.

Again we will meet in "Lost in Time" section where the music  for fans of The Cure will sound, will be new "Synthpop Pill" section (including fragments of a strong candidate for synthpop album of the year), for the first time we will have a look at the lineup of this year's IV Kalisz Ambient Festiwal.

And will be contest for listeners, this time I will give away 3 genuine copies of the new and ATTENTION still not officially released full length album "Alchemy" of Polish band NUN Electro, I know that my listeners have been waiting for.

The program will be filled with the overwhelming majority of new titles and also some still unreleased albums.
