KONTRAPUNKT ON SUMMER VACATION

Tonight Thursday August 10th, 2017 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the new Kontrapunkt Radio Show (summer edition) will be aired on Rock Serwis FM. It will be the 9th summer holiday edition of the show.

This time, in the first part of the show we will take a trip to Paris to compare two French views on neoclassical music.
In both cases the symphonic sound was inspired by gothic and doom/black metal, although guitars appeared only in one case.
 First is the group which has been with us for over two decades, the second is a newcomer.
  The first ones are the Dark Sanctuary, who have decided to remind themselves with the album containing their earlier recordings refreshed with elements in the formula best described by the title of the album - "Metal". We will also listen to their earlier compositions.
Newcomer remains a mystery for a while.

In the second hour of the show in the "Classics of Electronic Sensitivity" series the album which does not require any additional recommendation, the real Classic (by the capitol C) of the 80's - Ultravox and the album "Rage In Eden". In a month it will be 36 years old already.

Tym razem w pierwszej części programu wybierzemy się na chwilę do Paryża, by tam porównać ze sobą dwa francuskie spojrzenia na muzykę neoklasyczną.
Tak się złożyło, że w obu przypadkach symfoniczne brzmienia skojarzono z wpływami gotyku i doom/black metalu choć tylko w jednym pojawiają się gitary.
Zagra dla Was grupa która jest z nami od ponad dwóch dekad (choć ostatnio było o niej cicho) oraz tegoroczny debiutant.
Ci pierwsi to Dark Sanctuary, którzy postanowili przypomnieć o sobie płytą ze swoimi wcześniejszymi nagraniami odświeżonymi o elementy w formule zawierającej się w tytule wydawnictwa - "Metal". Posłuchamy także ich wcześniejszych kompozycji.
Debiutant niech jeszcze przez chwilę pozostanie tajemnicą.

W drugiej godzinie w "Klasykach elektronicznej wrażliwości" płyta nie wymagająca dodatkowej rekomendacji, prawdziwy Klasyk (przez duże K) lat 80. - Ultravox i album "Rage In Eden" z materiałem, który już za miesiąc będzie miał dokładnie 36 lat.

In such high temperatures, the best music should be heavily chilled so in the first hour, the Belgian classic post punk. Due to its sound the band should be in the collection of every serious fan of Joy Division. We will listen to selected tracks recorded by Siglo XX.

 In the second 60 minutes of the show a real thrilling hits factory - in the series "Classics of Electronic Sensitivity" A Flock Of Seagulls and their debut longplay from 1982.
