49th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Generators) January 28th, 2016 Announcement

On Thursday 28 January, 2016 starting as usual at 21.00 (UTC+01:00) I will host for you the next edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show on Rock Serwis FM radio in Krakow, Poland.

This program will be almost exclusively filled with electronically generated sounds. There will be new releases but music covered with dust will be featured as well.
For example, from these first I will air band best known for their track connected with small fluffy clouds, from those forgotten  - Belgian group whose name has much in common with yellow fever.
If time permits, the culmination of the show will be marked with fire and sword.

Moreover, there will be something for Jean Michel Jarre's music style fans and fragments of  this year's album on which the most important are the various techniques of use of percussion instruments.

W dzisiejszym programie prawie wyłącznie dźwięki generowane elektronicznie. Pojawią się nowe realizacje ale przyprószona kurzem muzyka też się zawieruszy.
Przykładowo z tych pierwszych zagra formacja najbardziej znana z utworu o małych puszystych chmurach, z tych drugich zapomniana belgijska grupa której nazwa ma wiele wspólnego z żółtą febrą.
Jeżeli czas pozwoli całość zwieńczę z przytupem - ogniem i mieczem.

Ponadto będzie rozdawnictwo płytowe dla fanów klasycznej elektroniki spod znaku Jeana Michela Jarre'a. Polecam Waszej uwadze także prezentację niezwykłego tegorocznego albumu, na którym najważniejsze są różnorakie techniki gry na instrumentach perkusyjnych.

48th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Continuum #7) January 21st, 2016 Announcement

On Thursday January 21st, 2016 at 21.00 (UTC+01:00) the next edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show on Rock Serwis FM. This will be our 48th meeting.  

Today's program in accordance with its subtitle will be a continuation of musical themes from the previous edition.

Again we will meet with Canadian farmer who shared his time between growing tomatoes and making minimal wave, Polish group Dogs In Trees will return, which really appealed to many of you last time and besides that I have 2 copies of their genuine CDs waiting to be given away tonight. 

I will remind you about the concert which will take place on Saturday (January 23, 2016). In Poznan we will have visitors from Norway ARGH and Glenn Main Henriksen together with Polish The Digital Angel. Moreover, the program will feature some of this year's novelties, including moving new album by Electro Spectre. 

Everything will be closed by the latest album of German formation Troum.

Dzisiejszy program zgodnie ze swoim podtytułem będzie kontynuacją wątków muzycznych poruszonych w poprzednim wydaniu.

Ponownie spotkamy się z kanadyjskim farmerem, który swój czas dzielił pomiędzy uprawę pomidorów a tworzenie muzyki minimal wave, powróci polska grupa Dogs In Trees, która bardzo spodobała się wielu z Was a poza tym czekają ich płyty do rozdania w dzisiejszym konkursie.

Przypomnę Wam o koncercie, który już w sobotę (23 stycznia). W Poznaniu wystąpią goście z Norwegii ARGH i Glenn Main Henriksen oraz polski The Digital Angel.

Ponadto w programie pojawi się kilka tegorocznych nowości, w tym wzruszająca nowa płyta Electro Spectre a na zakończenie posłuchamy fragmentów najnowszej płyty niemieckiej formacji Troum.

47th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Passer By) January 14th, 2016 Announcement

On Thursday 14 January at 21.00 the next meeting with Kontrapunkt Radio Show aired on Rock Serwis FM Krakow Poland. 
This time the main character will be David Bowie, whose works (but treated in a Kontrapuntal way) will fill the large part of the program. 
Earlier I will invite you to a concert in Poznan, where you can see and hear Norwegian ARGH, well known to you already, Glenn Main Henriksen (Norway again) and Polish band The Digital Angel. Some of you will receive free invitations ...
 I will mention also the birthday of Blixa Bargeld from Einstürzende Neubauten and Bryn Jones (Muslimgauze), whose death anniversary is precisely on Thursday. 
Moreover, the program will feature titles already released this year although containing archival material. We will be listening to the very interesting though severely underrated British band playing melodic Goth Rock and veterans of Italian industrial electro scene, who will soon remind you restored recordings dating back to 1983 years.
 You will also for the first time in the works of Polish very interesting group Dogs In Trees. 
"Lost In Time" series will return, where for the first time (certainly not the last) I will reach for the fantastic minimal wave made by very talented Canadian farmer.

W czwartek 14. stycznia o godzinie 21.00 kolejne spotkanie z programem Kontrapunkt na antenie Rock Serwis FM.
Tym razem główną postacią będzie David Bowie, którego twórczości (choć potraktowanej w kontrapunktowy sposób) poświęcę sporą część programu.
Wcześniej zaproszę Was na koncert do Poznania, na którym będziecie mogli zobaczyć i usłyszeć norweski, znany Wam już zespół ARGH, wystąpią również Glenn Main Henriksen (także z Norwegii) oraz polski The Digital Angel. Ktoś z Was otrzyma zaproszenie...
Wspomnę także obchodzącego dwa dni temu swoje urodziny Blixę Bargelda z Einsturzende Neubauten oraz Bryna Jonesa (Muslimgauze), którego rocznica śmierci przypada właśnie w czwartek.
Ponadto w programie m. in. nagrania już z tegorocznych płyt choć zawierających archiwalny materiał. Posłuchamy bardzo ciekawego choć mocno niedocenianego brytyjskiego zespołu grającego melodyjny Goth Rock oraz weteranów włoskiej sceny electro industrialnej, którzy już niedługo przypomną swój materiał datowany na 1983 rok.
Pojawi się także po raz pierwszy w programie twórczość polskiej bardzo interesującej grupy Dogs In Trees.
Powrócą "Zaginieni w czasie", gdzie po raz pierwszy (na pewno nie ostatni) sięgnę po twórczość pewnego kanadyjskiego farmera nagrywającego fantastyczny minimal wave.

46th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (January) January 7th, 2016 Announcement

On Thursday, January 7th, 2016 at 21.00 (UTC+01:00) the first post Christmas and post New Year meeting with Kontrapunkt Radio Show aired on Rock Serwis FM radio.
It will be hard frozen, winter edition of the show but there will be no cold wave tracks this time. 
More details? There you go - there will be, among other things fragments of the last year release made by two people associated with the American industrial rock movement in the 90's, strongly referring to the achievements of the well known record label Wax Trax. There will be also an artist who has been musically active for over 20 years now, having in his discography not only solo realisations under many names but also many collaborations with such well-known producers and projects as, among others, HIV+, Ex_Tension, Necrotek, Babylone Chaos or Architect. 
 It will be also winterly frosty ambient, cold blowing noise and excerpts from brilliant soundtrack of a motion picture highly anticipated by me, which action takes place in very harsh circumstances for every human being.

W czwartek 7. stycznia o godzinie 21.00 pierwsze post świąteczne i post noworoczne spotkanie z programem Kontrapunkt na antenie Rock Serwis FM.

Będzie to mocno zmrożona, zimowa edycja programu choć muzyki cold wave w niej tym razem nie uświadczycie.
Więcej szczegółów? Proszę bardzo - pojawią się między innymi fragmenty ubiegłorocznej płyty autorstwa dwóch ludzi związanych ze sceną amerykańskiego industrialnego rocka, mocno nawiązującej do dokonań zespołów wytwórni Wax Trax lat 90. Pojawią się też nagrania artysty, który muzycznie aktywny jest już od ponad 20 lat, a na swoim koncie ma obok solowych dokonań wiele kolaboracji w tym z tak znanymi producentami i projektami jak m.in. HIV+, Ex_Tension, Necrotek, Babylone Chaos czy Architect. Będzie także styczniowo mroźny ambient, wiejący przenikliwym zimnem noise i fragmenty genialnej ścieżki dźwiękowej bardzo oczekiwanego przeze mnie filmu, którego akcja rozgrywa się w bardzo nieprzyjaznych człowiekowi okolicznościach przyrody.

Mam świadomość, że wielu z Was ma swój prywatny ranking płyt ubiegłego roku dawno zamknięty, ale że z natury jestem człowiekiem przekornym postaram się choć trochę w Waszych zestawieniach namieszać kompozycjami z płyt, które jeszcze w programie nie gościły a są z pewnością warte Waszej uwagi.
