Tonight Thursday August 24th, 2017 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the next Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM. It will be the 11th and the last summer holiday edition of the show.

Show première - Thursday at 21.00

 Show replay - Saturday at 19.00

This will be our last meeting in the summer edition of Kontrapukt radio show.

77th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (In Reference To) August 11th, 2016 Announcement

On Thursday August 11th, 2016 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the next Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM.

Kontrapunkt Radio Show finishes its short vacation and returns again live to the studio of Rock Serwis FM in Kraków Poland.
According to the previous information this time with (one exception however) the new releases only.

This time you might partially know what will appear in the program - the new John Foxx and The Maths and just before its street date newest album of British Mesh.

To change the mood I will air play few dark folk tracks, the blue rider lifting a beautiful woman in the saddle will gallop in.

At the end of the show you will feel yourself like Ivo Watts-Russell and John Fryer again joined forces to release a new album of This Mortal Coil. It will also be early presentation.
The second hour will be strongly depressive in both the audio and the words ...

Kontrapunkt zakończył swoje krótkie wakacje i powraca ponownie na żywo do studia Rock Serwis FM.
Zgodnie z zapowiedzią będą (z jednym wszakże wyjątkiem) same nowości.

Częściowo już wiecie co pojawi się w programie - nowy John Foxx and The Maths oraz na chwilę przed wydaniem znakomity brytyjski Mesh.
Na przełamanie nastroju zaproponuję Wam dark folk, przygalopuje także błękitny jeździec unosząc w siodle piękną kobietę.
Na zakończenie pojawi się płyta, słuchając której poczujecie się tak, jakby Ivo Watts-Russell oraz John Fryer ponownie połączyli siły by wydać nową płytę This Mortal Coil. To także będzie przedpremierowa prezentacja.
W drugiej godzinie będzie mocno depresyjnie zarówno w warstwie dźwiękowej jak i słownej...

75th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (in holiday mode - Romanticism) July 28th, 2016 Announcement

As usual on Thursday July 28th, 2016 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the next edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM.

Summer continues so as Kontrapunkt in holiday mode.

Hot days conducive to uncontrolled explosions of romance therefore, the second part of the program will be marked by new romantic electronic music from the 80s.

At first we will hear fragments of a very well known and very perverse record and some tracks form the second one far less known, which should appeal to fans of Ultravox from the time of John Foxx (but probably not only to them).

At the end of the show one of the most interesting contemporary representatives of synthpop will appear.
In the first hour of a lot of different kinds of music from a movie that Nick Cave and Warren Ellis contributed their compositions as well.
The whole starts with Recoil promised some time ago.

Lato trwa a przed Wami kolejna wakacyjna odsłona Kontrapunktu.
Okres kanikuły sprzyja niekontrolowanym wybuchom romantyczności, w związku z tym druga część programu upłynie pod znakiem romantycznej muzyki elektronicznej z lat 80. Posłuchamy fragmentów jednej bardzo znanej i bardzo perwersyjnej płyty oraz drugiej znanej zdecydowanie słabiej, która powinna spodobać się fanom Ultravox z czasów z Johnem Foxxem (ale zapewne nie tylko im). Na zakończenie zagra jeden z najciekawszych współczesnych przedstawicieli świata synthpopu.
W pierwszej godzinie sporo różnorodnej muzyki filmowej w tym tej autorstwa Nicka Cave'a i Warrena Ellisa.
Całość rozpocznie obiecany jakiś czas temu Recoil.

On Thursday July 14th, 2016 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the next edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM.

Another holiday meeting in Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be spend in the gardens, where the tours will be guided by Azam Ali and John Foxx among others. 
At the end we will be listening to the extensive fragments of the latest release by the Goth rock legend - The Garden Of Delight.

43rd Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Multiplicity) December 3rd, 2015 Announcement

On Thursday December 3rd, 2015 at 21.00 (UTC+01:00) the next meeting in Kontrapunkt Radio Show broadcast on Polish Rock Serwis FM radio."Multiplicity" subtitle means the greater amount of the tracks featured in one show than usual. I have prepared up to 27 shorter compositions for the presentation in 120 minutes.
Sonically it will be 90% of electronic, from movie soundtracks to experiment (between there will be a place also for synthpop and minimal synth). Thematically - from a very well-known classical horror novel to the Polish industrial.
With one exception I'm going to airplay tracks from the CDs released this year, including Hocico, Architect, and John Foxx among others.

W czwartek 3. grudnia o godzinie 21.00 kolejne spotkanie na antenie Rock Serwis FM z programem Kontrapunkt.

Pod wzgledem ilości nagrań będzie to program rekordowy. Do prezentacji w ciągu 120 minut przygotowałem dla Was aż 27 krótszych niż zwykle kompozycji.
Brzmieniowo będzie w 90% elektronicznie od muzyki filmowej po dźwiękowy eksperyment (pomiędzy znajdzie sie miejsce m.in. dla synthpopu i minimal synth), tematycznie od bardzo znanej klasycznej postaci literackiego horroru po klasyka polskiego industrialu.
Z jednym wyjątkiem zagram dla Was z płyt wydanych w tym roku, pojawią sie m.in. Hocico Official, Architect i John Foxx.

39th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Destruction) November 5th, 2015 Announcement

The next edition of the program Kontrapunkt will be on the air on Thursday at 21.00 on Rock Serwis FM radio. It so happened that most of the tracks prepared this time for you to be presented will touch the major contemporary topics related to the war, suffering and the ecological destruction of our planet so that's the reason for such subtitle of the show.

Kontrapunkt will be filled with mainly new songs, including a pre-premiere of the latest album of the Swedish band, which is very important for me personally. In the 80s it was an undiscovered jewel in our country despite the huge popularity of the minor synth music. For the first time for 29 years they recorded the album as a trio, and again this is an outstanding album. Besides, among others, Killing Joke, Dave Gahan, John Foxx, Schonwald and several other more or less well-known performers.
I will remind you also recordings of the great Test Dept, which this Saturday will perform in Wroclaw.

34th Kontrapunkt Radio Show (The New Beginning) October 1st, 2015 Announcement

Due to the changes in Rock Serwis FM's schedule table (starting next week) this edition marks the new season of Kontrapunkt Radio Show and that's why "The New Beginning" subtitle appeared.

In the second hour I will invite you for an interview with Przemyslaw Rychlik - organizer of IV Kalisz Ambient Festival, also we will talk about his music project Accomplice Affair.
Thanks to Przemek I will have for my listeners the double invitations for this very interesting festival.

On the first part of the show I will have some hot news for you, including latest IAMX "Metanoia" album (brilliant) and Coil album "Backwards" (incredible) recorded in Trent Reznor's Nothing Records studios, for the first time in its original form.

They will be also Polish accents (due to the project Black Tower among others).

And what is an obvious thing this week - John Foxx will open the show.

33rd Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Post Scriptum) September 30th, 2015 Announcement

Tonight the additional edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM, making a kind of post scriptum to the first season of the show. The second season will begin  tomorrow on Thursday October 1st, 2015.

The program will feature tracks that were not fortunate enough to be on earlier editions of Kontrapunkt or were planned to be, but time did not allow to air them. This time it will be this year's electronic music only (mostly instrumental recordings), with one exception though.

Among other artists, in this edition Juno Reactor, Conrad Schnitzler and ... Steven Wilson will be air played. And what is an obvious thing this week - John Foxx will open the show.

Kontrapunkt Radio Show (#25) August 06, 2015 Announcement

This Thursday the premiere of  25th edition of Kontrapunkt (another small jubilee) will take place so the subtitle of the show is obvious.

As usual the program content will be the music from a variety of genres, in the vast majority from new releases (for instance unreleased until now tracks by John Foxx and Kirlian Camera and if time permits, Edward Ka-Spel). In several recordings we will hear Polish language and few Polish projects will be on air as well..

There will also be a little jubilee summaries, also I have prepared a contest, this time for music fans of cold wave and post-punk.

Also we will bid farewell to our dear music friends - Louis Zachert (Cycloon, Metroland) and Stephen Huss (formerly Psyche), who passed away this weekend.

Kontrapunkt Radio Show April 23, 2015 Announcement

On Thursday, April 23, 2015 the program will be celebrating its modest jubilee (10th edition).This Kontrapunkt will be marked by the continuation of the presentation of recordings that did not fit into the last show but the new releases will also appear. You may expect gothic, ambient electronics, electro industrial. 

The show will include The Last Hour with the beautiful album "Deadline", ESA, still prior to its street date The Insight, unreleased track by Vigilante and more.At the beginning of the show John Foxx will sound from his latest album, Anatoly Grinberg will be back with "Structure" CD (I will have one copy for someone of you). There will also be the announcements of concerts.

Also 2 genuine copies of Grauzone "1980-1982" double CD containing remastered discography of this cult Swiss formation will be given away at the end of competition started last week.

At the end of the show I'll present 3, maybe 4 recordings of those that once made a huge impression on me, and even now they constantly move me.
