Again, a lot of première presentations. Once again I will reach for the brand new album of Die Krupps entitled "Stahlwerkrequiem" (still waiting for its release day). Also you will hear a lot of strong tracks the new Combichrist including. It will be also Rudi Ratzinger and his : Wumpscut :. From another shelf something for fans of Warp Records and at the end of the show few minutes with somnambulistic noir ambient.

But everything starts extremely quietly and touching by surprise...

On Thursday June 2nd, 2016 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the next edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be aired on Rock Serwis FM.

Tonight will be a lot of premieres and previews, also this special and most important presentation for me these days - fragments of the new album of Die Krupps "Stahlwerkrequiem" at the end of the program.

Title beasts will appear, also those in human skin. A lot of music will have references to the 80's, "Lost In Time" section will return this time with the British formation recording in 1985-1987, and at the end of the program several minutes for experimental and tribal sounds are reserved.

W tym wydaniu pojawi się sporo premierowych i przedpremierowych prezentacji w tym ta dla mnie najważniejsza - Die Krupps "Stahlwerkrequiem" na zakończenie programu.

Przybędą tytułowe bestie, także te w ludzkiej skórze. Sporo będzie muzycznych odniesień do lat 80., powrócą "Zaginieni w czasie" tym razem z brytyjską formacją nagrywającą w latach 1985-1987, a pod koniec programu przewiduję kilkanaście minut z plemiennym eksperymentem i industrialem.

According to our tradition, the show during the holidays appears on the air as special edition.

On this day  the Corpus Christi is celebrated  in Poland so the program will have a special character. Also the music mood will be solely adapted to the circumstances.
The show will feature the representatives of the dark wave, dark ambient, dark folk, ethereal and modern classical genres.

This time without the theme or common denominator, just new music and a little bit older one, split between the electronics and guitars.

There will be a  synthpop corner, goth and death rock, dark folk, a pinch of avant-garde.

Peter Baumann "Machines Of Desire" new album after 33 years of silence officially on Kontrapunkt Radio Show, before it's street date

Berlin School alert!

The new and first after 33 years break studio solo album by Peter Baumann "Machines Of Desire" will be soon released. In the meanwhile tracks from this very good forthcoming album may be heard officially on Kontrapunkt Radio Show.

From 1971 to 1977 Peter Baumann was a member of the legendary German band Tangerine Dream, the inventors of the electronic music genre "Berlin School". He produced many seminal records in his Paragon studio (e.g. Conrad Schnitzler, Cluster, Hans-Joachim Roedelius) and released several successful solo albums.

Peter Baumann: "Machines of Desire is filled with many influences, not least of them, my time with Tangerine Dream. Recording this album has been a very rich experience that fulfilled my creative desires, with more to come. I'm delighted that German record label Bureau B will release the recording in May/June of this year."

The first hour will be almost spring-like, the second filled with pagan, grim, experimental, industrial and noise.

We will bid farewell to Isao Tomita who died last week, Dave Gahan who recently turned 54 years old will appear briefly, we will listen to the next two tracks from Peter Baumann's "Machines Of Desire" album soon to be released. Some 80's artists will be with us as well.

For those of you who like exotic directions - a minimal wave from...Venezuela.

63rd Kontrapunkt Radio Show (Returns) May 5th, 2016 Announcement

On Thursday, May 5th, 2016 at 21.00 (CEST, UTC+02:00) the next edition of Kontrapunkt Radio Show will be transmitted live on air on Rock Serwis FM radio in Krakow, Poland.

Returns because few artists known to you already from my previous radio shows will return  but with their brand new releases.
Return a reference to the Cold Meat Industry because they all recorded once for this outstanding now defunct cult label.
I will air also The Cure, there was 27 anniversary of the release of the album "Disintegration" this week.

For fans of electronic Berlin school exclusively and before its première date we will have a look at the new (after 33 years!) music by Peter Baumann.

Courtesy of the Organizers themselves I will have for you an invitation to the upcoming concerts of The Moon & The Nighspirit. So be prepared. 

But the opening will feature the amazing tracks from the soundtrack to the recently published book ... actually richly illustrated Norse tale.

April 26 passed 30 years passed since the disaster at Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine. Therefore, the beginning of the program will lead you to the forbidden zone, where elevated levels of radiation, a ghost town and deforming body mutations are on the agenda. This section will include also such cult project as Lustmord.

Later, some variety of news (including the Legendary Pink Dots), a competition where discs of the Polish band Uncarnate are waiting and at the end Johan Van Roy playing the music you might do not know.

W tej części pojawi się m.in. kultowy projekt Lustmord.
